Transport
Rail
Rail transport is operated by First ScotRail. Stations are Milngavie,
Hillfoot, Bearsden and Westerton. All stations have limited car
parking. Services run into either Glasgow Queen Street or Central
stations. The frequency in both directions is every 15 minutes
Monday to Saturday and every half hour on a Sunday. Additional
trains run to and from Westerton.
Departures from Bearsden are generally at 2,17,32 and 47 minutes
past the hour Monday to Saturday. Sunday 16 and 46 minutes past
the hour.
Departures from Queen Street are generally 13,23,43 and 53 minutes
past the hour Monday to Saturday. Sunday 24 and 54 minutes past
the hour. It is necessary to change train at Partick station on
around half of the services from Queen Street as the Milngavie
trains operate alternately through Central Station.

Bus
The 850 Ring'n'Ride service is operated for Strathclyde Partnership
for Transport 'SPT' The bus operates Mondays to Saturdays between
the hours of 0700 and 1800 hours and requires to be booked in
advance.
The Ring'n'Ride service picks you up from as near to your door
as possible and takes you where you want to go, when you want
to go. It does not make trips where there are alternative direct
public transport services.
The service provides direct links between any points in the area
shown on the map , and also from this area to the highlighted
town centres and train stations.
