Transport

• Mosshead has no scheduled bus service, scheduled Services operate on Duntocher and Milngavie Roads.
• A "Ring'n'Ride" bus service and "Dial a Bus" also operate in Mosshead but both need to be booked in advance.
• Train Services operate to and from Milngavie through Bearsden and Hillfoot stations, all three are at least 20 minutes walk from Mosshead.
• There is a local taxi company based at Bearsden station.

Services

There is one Post Box, at the shops in Stockiemuir Ave, last collection 5 pm, not Sunday.
The sorting office is in Milngavie Road behind Hillfoot Station if you have to pick up a parcel.
There is no public telephone box in Mosshead , the nearest ones are at Bearsden Cross on Roman Road outside the Post Office or on Drymen Road opposite the Bearsden Cross hall.
Rubbish/Recycling is collected on a Tuesday unless you are in the tall flats when its collected twice per week. Click refuse and recycling link for the council website details of the arrangements for domestic waste.

Garden Waste collection happens March to November.

There are no recycling facilities in Mosshead. The nearest recycling point for bottles,cans,paper, cardboard and textiles etc is situated in the car park at the Baljaffray shops.

Public toilets are accessed from the south side of the Public Hall car park opposite the shops on Drymen Road at Bearsden Cross.
